As part of the settlement of that lawsuit, Taurus agreed to recall the following pistols that consumers bought in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands and Guam between 1997 and 2013: PT-111 Millennium. PT-132 Millennium. PT-138-Millennium.
The lawsuit alleges that nine handgun models had a faulty design that allowed the pistol to inadvertently fire when dropped or to be discharged when the safety feature was still on. As part of the $239 million settlement, Taurus agreed to a voluntary recall of 1 million pistols.
Throughout the years, saying Taurus has had quality control issues would be an understatement. However, those issues do seem to be getting better. You can pick up a Taurus revolver cheaper than other competing options, such as Ruger and Smith & Wesson.

Taureans suffer from inadequate self-esteem, and this anxiety causes them to desire worldly possessions and seldom offer them to others. Taurus' adverse characteristics may also be seen in love situations, as he clutches his partner near and finds it difficult to give them independence.
The flip side of Taurus can take a toll. They frequently come across as being overly lenient, obstinate, lethargic, narcissistic, tight-lipped, and excessively careful. Even though everyone likes the Earth sign, fellow Taurean mates occasionally fail to adhere to their own principles.
Are Taurus in trouble?
They face many issues due to their fear of change and adaptability. They fail to seize many opportunities because they are afraid of change so much. Another common problem for Taurus is that they are not easy at letting go of the negative things and they hold the grudge for very long.
One of the dangers of joining a class action lawsuit is that you lose the right to file an individual lawsuit if the class action case fails. In addition, you cannot reject a settlement offer to which the class representatives have agreed.

Even in cases with minor damages, it may be worth your time, money, and resources to join a class action lawsuit. If you have minor injuries or other damages from a large company's negligence, these issues can affect many other people, too.
The average time it takes to process a settlement check is between one and six weeks. However, it can take several months for you to receive just compensation. If you hire one of the experienced attorneys from Morgan & Morgan, you should not have to wait six weeks to receive your settlement check.
We recommend you clean your carry gun at a 2-week interval and ensure that whenever you hit the shooting range with it, you would have cleaned it by the time you slip it back in its holster and carry it around. You also need to meticulously inspect your gun once a month, so prepare your disassembly tools.
We found it to be accurate, reliable, and easy to shoot—even compared to some pistols that were much more expensive. We fired approximately 350 rounds of various ammunition through the Taurus G3X, and it ran everything reliably.

Taurus actually owns a few Beretta firearm designs. In 1974 Beretta won a contract to produce small arms for the Brazilian Army. The contract required Beretta to build a Brazilian factory and use Brazilian labor.
The Taurus Millennium G2, also known as the Taurus G2C, is a staple of the Brazilian company. The gun is made in Brazil and imported through Taurus's Miami division. This gun is very popular in the US market due to its price point, as the Millennium G2c comes in at under $250 in most shops.
One of the strongest selling points of the Taurus G2c is the price — this is one of the most affordably priced 9mm semi-automatic pistols on the market. Because you save money on your firearm purchase, you can spend more on high-quality accessories, such as carry holsters, gun belts, and ammunition for range practice.
That said, the Taurus G2C is a much easier gun to shoot. Recoil on both these guns is stout, but is less so on the Taurus G2C due to its extra weight. The trigger on the Taurus G2C is also much easier to use than the SCCY CPX1, so I am going to have to give the Taurus a clear win on shootability.

Is Taurus G2C drop safe?
When it comes to safety mechanisms, the G2C is “loaded”! It has an internal striker block that keeps the firing pin from moving forward unless the trigger is pulled. This prevents accidental discharge if the gun were to be dropped..
The frame material and finish on the G3c seem to be a little bit better than the Taurus G2c and the metal sights on the G3c are also a nice touch. These changes aren't significant but there are no features on the G2c that make it feel more quality than the Taurus G3c.
The Taurus G3c also has a trigger safety making the gun drop safe. In theory, you could carry the gun with the thumb safety disengaged due to this feature. If you are going to do that, I would definitely advise still training to sweep off the thumb safety every time you draw the gun.
This incident demonstrated that Taurus had manufactured millions of guns that could fire when dropped, which of course could cause a lawful gun owner to be injured or killed.

For most users, the G2c is going to be much to large for a pocket gun. It's also quite heavy for pocket carry weighing almost 27 ounces. I would suggest going with a smaller lighter options like the Glock 42, Ruger LCP/LPC 2, Sig P365 or the Springfield Hellcat.
The Taurus Millennium G2C is a 12-round handgun. It ships with 10 round magazines in more restrictive states, but the gun itself is in a weird size category similar to the Smith and Wesson M&PC with the 3.5-inch barrel that was originally introduced.
